Staff
Marie Manor, Administrative Assistant
I'm a native Arizonan who married a native Arizonan. Mark was my college sweetheart at the University of San Diego, and he's now a Glendale fire captain. We have three sons: Zach is 20 at NAU, Mitch is 18 at UA, and Brett is a junior at Arcadia High. God has blessed me with my boys and they fill my life with joy. After spending an extended season as a full-time mom and home maker, the volunteer position I enjoyed at Christ Church Anglican became a staff position. I knew that if I were to make a commitment outside my family, it would have to be something I was passionate about. Christ Church has provided a community of faith-filled people where I feel encouraged and spiritually nourished. The hands-on training I received by volunteering over the past years and the experience I have gained along the way help me do my job, as do the daily challenges and growth that each new day brings.
Ministry Purpose and Vision
I see my role as support for clergy, ministries and staff to spread God's kingdom as the Lord leads us and to be faithful in the service He would have me do.
Hobbies
I'm an animal lover with a menagerie at home. I love to garden, and engage in all that my busy family enjoys doing together.

Aaron Petersen, Minister of Music
I was born in northern Minnesota, but spent my childhood growing up in northwest Washington State. My parents, both of whom are musical, instilled within me a love for music and a desire to someday make it my profession. I went to Wheaton College for a degree in Piano Performance. During these years I was introduced to Anglicanism and the British Choral tradition. I finished with a BM degree in piano and went on for further study overseas at the Royal Academy of Music. I graduated with a MMus degree in Choral Direction and Church music. After returning to the States, I spent several years singing professionally with the Rose Ensemble and the Bach Society of Minnesota. In 2008 I moved to Phoenix and joined the music ministry program at Christ Church Anglican. It has been a great joy be here working alongside of God’s people.
Ministry Purpose and Vision
My purpose is to provide musical leadership that displays the beauty of Anglican worship and that draws people in to encounter the Glory of God in Jesus Christ.
Hobbies
I enjoy reading, working out, singing, playing the piano, watching football, and listening to new music.

Jim Haller, Organist
On Wednesday, December 12, 2012, CCA officially welcomed Jim Haller as the new organist of the parish. Jim comes to the church with 40 years of music ministry experience in multiple denominations, including Episcopal, Lutheran, and Presbyterian settings. From 2001-2010, he was the organist at Lord of Life Lutheran Church in Sun City West. He currently serves as the accompanist for the Westernaries, a 100-voice community chorus in the West Valley. Jim's love for the organ began as a teenager and continued on through college and alongside of his career in social work. He holds a BA from Augsburg College in Minneapolis, MN, having studied both Organ and Sociology. Jim is married with four grown children, two sons and two daughters. In his spare time, he enjoys aerobic walking, reading, outreach ministry to the homeless, and spending time with his family. Jim is excited to part of the ministry at CCA and looks forward to getting to know new faces.
Megan Comstock, Children's Ministry Director
I was born in San Diego, where I grew up as the youngest of two girls. I attended Westmont College and studied English & Spanish, which fostered in me a desire to teach one day. After graduating and before beginning to work, however, I moved to Phoenix to spend a season intentionally seeking the Lord and being mentored by a couple I highly respect, George & Hanna Miley. In 2007 I started working one-on-one with children & adults as a reading specialist and consultant at Lindamood-Bell Learning Processes in Scottsdale. Three years later, having attended Christ Church from its beginning, Fr. Chris asked if I would consider coming on staff to lead our Children’s Ministry. I accepted, and couldn’t be more thrilled with what I now get to do.
Ministry Purpose and Vision
My prayer is that our children would encounter God and His transforming love from a young age, beginning to listen to & obey His voice.
Hobbies
I love to bike, travel, hike, enjoy theater, read, and explore new places.
