Church Funding Grant Process - Click Here for Information and Application Details

Christ Church Anglican of Phoenix, Arizona was formed in 2007 to fulfill the great commission of Jesus Christ, “Go and make disciples of all nations.”  A biblical orthodox church, Christ Church upholds the historic faith once delivered and worships in the Anglican tradition.   We are part of the Anglican Church of North America (ACNA) and a member of the Diocese of Western Anglicans.  Our Rector is the Reverend Chris Schutte, our Bishop is the Right Reverend William Thompson, and our Archbishop is the Most Reverend Robert Duncan.  Since inception, God has poured out His blessings on our church.  Everything we have needed has been provided.  This includes a wonderful congregation, inspired leadership, and a great worship space.

Through the love of God and by His grace, circumstances worked out this Spring for us to purchase the property and worship space we had been renting.  We held a capital campaign to raise the money needed and pledged to tithe ten percent of what we raised.

About the same time as all this was taking place, Archbishop Duncan made the call to plant 1000 new churches.  Accordingly, we are making available the tithed funds we held back from our capital campaign, for new church plant start-up expenses.  This money can be accessed in the form of grants following the application procedures included on the application form below.

Bishop Bill Thompson of the Diocese of Western Anglicans has endorsed this grant program. His endorsement may be read below.

We will begin processing funding requests upon receipt of applications.  A grant committee from Christ Church Anglican will evaluate all requests and applicants will be notified of action taken within 90 days of receipt.
