The Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols has been taking place at King’s College since 1918. However, the tradition goes further back to Truro Cathedral in 1880. The story of humanity’s fall, the promise of the Messiah, and the birth of Jesus are told through Bible readings interspersed with the singing of Christmas carols, hymns, and choir anthems.

Following the service, we will host a parish-wide Advent party. This will be a service and party you will not want to miss.
