Rooted in the rich and timeless Anglican tradition of sacred music, our parish choir serves at the heart of the liturgy, offering music that lifts the soul and enriches the worship of God.
Special offerings
Throughout the year, the choir presents quarterly Evensongs, the beloved service of Lessons and Carols, and festive music for Christmas Eve and other high holy days. In every anthem and hymn, we seek to offer beauty to the Lord and to the gathered congregation.
adult choir
Under the direction of Herbert Washington of the Phoenix Boys Choir, our ensemble of 16–20 voices draws upon a wide and vibrant repertoire, from ancient chant and Renaissance polyphony to the inspired works of modern composers.
DIRECTOR OF MUSICAL WORSHIP
CCA recently welcomed Dr. Guy Whatley into the life of Christ Church Anglican as our Director of Musical Worship and Organist. Dr. Whatley is a highly respected church musician, concert organist, and educator. He brings with him decades of experience leading worship and cultivating vibrant music ministries. He has also performed internationally, sharing his gifts in both sacred and concert settings.
In addition to his wide-ranging performance career, Dr. Whatley is deeply committed to the role of music in worship—helping congregations lift their voices to the glory of God and experience the beauty of holiness through sacred song.
