Today we will be collecting non-perishable (nothing Frozen) food items for Phoenix Rescue Mission Food Bank.

Especially needed this year are: Canned Fruit, Canned Green Beans, Canned Corn, Canned Sweet Potatoes, Broth, Cranberry Sauce, Gravy (no glass), Stuffing Mix, Mashed Potatoes,  Marshmallows, Foil roasting Pan, and Macaroni and Cheese.  Just bring your donation to church on Sunday November 23, and we will have a collection truck in the parking lot.

Your contribution will benefit underserved families in our own Phoenix community through the ministry of the Phoenix Rescue Mission, one of CCA’s ministry partners, who have been serving our local community for over 50 years.   This will provide Thanksgiving dinner for those who may otherwise go hungry.

We are also accepting financial donations by the usual methods listed in the church bulletin.  Financial donations should be marked “food drive” and received in the church office by Thursday, November 20.  Thanks. Your help is very much appreciated.
