Children During Sunday Service
The nursery is open to children 1-3 years during both services. Children play, sing, and hear a biblical story.
Our Godly Play program is offered during the 9:00am service in Room 11 and is for children 4 years old through the second grade. Godly Play is a multisensory style of storytelling that leads children to encounter and worship God. Children attending Godly Play will join their family for the last portion of the service at the passing of the peace.
Children are invited and encouraged to attend service with their family and the congregation because worship habits are shared generationally and what we’re passing on involves much more—though not less—than liturgical motions. We want our children to sense that praising God in the congregation is a joyful experience shared by all!
Note: Families are invited to visit the Children’s Resource Table located in the Narthex for extra resources.
Adult Education
Offerings are held in the Parish Hall, Room 7, Room 4, and occasionally in the Narthex.

What to Expect
Worship Style
While worship at Christ Church could be described as formal, the congregation warmly reaches out to people and seeks for all to be at home. Christ Church strives to create a Sunday morning worship time that is both contemplative and reflective—including moments of silence—as well as celebratory.
Children
Children are welcome to stay in the worship service with parents or caretakers or join Godly Play or the nursery.
Length of Service
A typical Sunday morning service is about 75 minutes. Coffee time and Adult Education and Sunday school happen from 10:20am to 11:05am, between the 9am and 11:15am services.
Attire
People wear a wide range of dress–from jeans to suits and ties.
