Children’s Ministry
CCA Children’s Ministry is dedicated to engaging children in a life-long relationship with Jesus through Christ-centered worship, Christian education, spiritual formation in the Anglican tradition, fellowship, and service for God.
At CCA, your child’s formation is our top priority. We want to partner with you to make the most of these impactful years. Once again, we are asking for a 2-1-1 commitment. Simply put, commit to making church a priority 2 days a week with regular Sunday Services and Wednesday Night activities, 1 day a month, with scheduled fun events, and 1 week a year with a summer camp such as CCA’s Vacation Bible School.
Sunday School
August 25 to November 24 | 9:15 to 10:15 AM
Children age 4 to 5th grade
There are few things worse for a child than a boring Sunday School Class. That is why we do our best to make Sunday School fun, engaging, and formational.
Beginning at age 4 through 5th grade, children are invited to attend class with their peers for 1 hour in-between Sunday services. Each class will journey through the New Testament according to age. The children will be fully immersed in the Gospel through a deep Bible study experience, memorization, crafts, and games. Our goal is to walk alongside children as they get to know Jesus and understand His story from Genesis to Revelation!
Room Assignments:
PreK-1st Grade | Room 8
2nd-3rd Grades | Room 13
4th-5th Grades | Room 12
Godly Play
Sundays | 10:30 AM to Passing of the Peace
Preschool to 2nd Grade
Room 11
While we at Christ Church desire the whole family to be together in regular Sunday worship, after all, God put the wiggle in children, we realize that having small children in the morning service can be a challenge. Godly Play is an interactive telling of biblical stories that engage children in the work of God through all 5 senses.
Wednesday Night Kids Club
August 21 to November 20 | 6:15 PM to 7:30 PM
Kids Club is a time when spiritual formation is a blend of fun, challenges, and learning as children are equipped with life skills through age-appropriate games, Bible memorizations, and Bible lessons. We desire to cultivate a fun, safe, and Christ-centered atmosphere where children can grow in their knowledge and love of the Lord. Kids’ Club exists to help kids gain knowledge of where they fit in Jesus’ story. Our goal is to help children understand 1)Who they are in Jesus 2) That they are loved by Jesus 3)That they were made to love Jesus and follow Him!
