New Format for Adult Ed.

Adult Sunday school at Christ Church Anglican is taking on a new look, starting September 11, from 10:20 – 10:50 a.m. every Sunday in the Parish Hall.

Utilizing some of the enormous talent in our congregation, we will hear from different parishioners each week about different aspects of Christian discipleship: humility, prayer, rest, reading, and serving. All of them will focus us on God’s gift of grace and his invitation to “grow in grace” (Ephesians 4:15).

In his book Desiring the Kingdom, Jamie Smith writes, “Discipleship and spiritual formation are less about erecting an edifice of knowledge than they are a matter of developing a Christian know-how that intuitively understands the world in light of the Gospel.”

All parishioners are encouraged to not miss this important time of learning and growing in grace. Below is the Adult Ed. schedule for the coming months. Please note the schedule is subject to change.
