Beginning Tuesday, August 3, Deacon John Laffoon will offer a group study of the Intertestamental period (the time between the Old Testament and the New Testament). We will read from the Apocryphal/Deuterocanonical books. You can find these books online for free or you can purchase a physical ESV Bible with the Apocrypha from Anglican House Publishers. You can join the group in the Parish Hall from 12:00-1:30 p.m. or 7:00-8:30 p.m. Three recommended, not required, books for this class are Introducing the Apocrypha by David A. deSilva, Reading the New Testament as Christian Scripture by Campbell and Pennington, and CASKET EMPTY by David Palmer (New Testament).
