Christian Faithfulness and Same-sex Attraction: Listening to the Stories of Celibate, Gay Christians. Please join us on Saturday, May 2, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. for a conversation with Wesley Hill, a New Testament professor at Trinity School for Ministry in Ambridge, PA. Wes is the author of “Washed and Waiting: Reflections on Christian Faithfulness and Homosexuality,” and the just-released “Spiritual Friendship: Finding Love in the Church as a Celibate, Gay Christian.” Wes will be joined by Tim Otto, a pastor at Church of the Sojourners in San Francisco, and Julie Rodgers, a chaplain at Wheaton College in Wheaton, IL. Wes, Tim, and Julie will share their stories as same-sex attracted Christians who are committed to lives of celibacy, and also offer encouragement as we seek to minister to gay Christians within the church. There is no charge for the event, but registration is required by clicking here http://www.eventbrite.com/e/christian-faithfulness-and-same-sex-attraction-listening-to-the-stories-of-celibate-gay-christians-tickets-16418912409. Child care will also be available at no charge for kids ages 1-12; just register through the Eventbrite as well.
