Confirmation Service

This weekend our bishop, Keith Andrews, will be with us at Christ Church. On Saturday morning at 10 a.m. we will have a special confirmation service. If you are at all able to be present, please do come and support these individuals who are making a public commitment to Christ and the church. I’m looking forward to this special time of prayer and worship.

On Sunday morning, we’ll have our normal schedule: services at 9 a.m. and 11:15 a.m., at which the bishop will both celebrate the Eucharist and preach. Between the services we will have an extended coffee time for casual interaction with the bishop and celebrating the confirmands.

Please do pray that this weekend would be full of life, joy and celebration as we gather for worship with our bishop, and remember that next Sunday, April 29, Megan Comstock and Tyler Williams will be exchanging wedding vows at the 9 a.m. service. There is a lot to celebrate this Easter season at Christ Church. I’m looking forward to honoring and announcing the work of the risen Lord in our midst.
