The Children’s and Youth ministries will be hosting joint events next Saturday evening, which will hopefully be a win-win for everyone in the family! Parents are encouraged to have a quiet evening to themselves or an exciting night out on the town while kids and teens enjoy some time together. Details for the events are below:
Guys’ Night Out: The young men of the church will attend the penultimate home game of the Arizona Diamondbacks for the season as they take on the Houston Astros and then enjoy some ice cream together afterwards. Tickets for the game are $12. We will meet at Megan Comstock’s house (address available upon request) before the game for pizza and return there afterwards to be picked up. Girls’ Night In: The girls are invited to a fun “evening in” at Megan’s home(address available upon request). We’ll do an early pizza dinner with the guys, then make necklaces, do hair and nails (bring your own supplies), and have dessert while watching Anne of Green Gables. These evenings are great not only for parents to enjoy some time off, but for our kids and youth to build community. Please come if you can!
