Keilah Thurman is planning on taking a gap year this coming year after she graduates from Cicero Preparatory Academy in May. For her gap year she plans to do two different young adult discipleship programs. First is with an Antioch Network partner ministry in North Cyprus: Exile. It is a three-month intensive program where she will read the entire Bible and Qur’an (Koran) and focus on Inter-Cultural Ministry. While working side-by-side with Muslims, she will learn how to relate and communicate the gospel in a receivable way. The second is a Youth With A Mission’s (YWAM) Outdoor Discipleship Training (ODTS) program. Both programs will equip her with a disciple’s characteristics and practical training for ministry. Please join us in the Nave after the second service on May 19th for a presentation from Keilah. During that time, you will hear more about her gap year and learn how you can spiritually and financially partner with Keilah in this transformative experience.
