Remaining Financial Needs for Chancel Remodel 

Dear Christ Church Anglican,

In our continued efforts to improve the space that God has graciously given us at Christ Church Anglican, we are working to remodel our chancel in a way that is more consistent with Anglican worship of Christ in word and sacrament; and to beautify the space in the worship of God. Here in this Compass, you can see colored renderings of what will be done with our space should we raise the necessary funds to do so. Note that not all of the details are exact, but the general vision of the space is clear.

We are in need of further funds to complete our chancel project. To date, we have raised $211,320 towards construction and altar furnishings, ten percent of which has been offered as a tithe for outreach. Thank you to all of you who have generously and graciously given to raise these resources so far!

We estimate that this project will cost about $250,000, but we anticipate that number going slightly higher since this is a construction project. Keep in mind that the additional funds we raise will also be tithed for outreach. All of which is to say, we continue to need funds of whatever amount you feel compelled to give towards the worship of Christ in word and sacrament in our sanctuary. We are still gathering final estimates for altar furnishings, but for those interested in giving specifically to anything in the chancel, we do know that the choir pews will cost about $15,000 dollars. We welcome any gifts for the purchase of these pews.

Construction for the chancel remodel is scheduled to begin the first week of July, so if you are waiting to give, please do not wait too long, it would really bless us to know what resources we have as we get nearer to construction.
