Upcoming Events
As we continue to celebrate the resurrection, I’d like to let you all know about a few important events in May, and also our summer schedule.
First, on Sunday, May 7, Bp. Dan Gimadu from Uganda will be with us in worship. Bp. Dan was our first bishop, and we remain deeply grateful for him and his ministry. He will assist in worship at both services, and will share an update on his life and ministry during Adult Education.
Then, on Sunday, May 14, our bishop, Keith Andrews, will be with us. We will have a single service at 9:00 a.m., during which Bp. Keith will preach and several individuals will be confirmed in their faith. Following the service, we will have coffee time followed by a presentation by Bp. Keith on life in the diocese and the broader Anglican Communion.
Finally, we begin our summer service schedule on Sunday, May 28. This summer our plan is to have Adult Education and Sunday School at 9:00 a.m., and the worship service at 10:00 a.m. This schedule will last through Sunday, September 3.
I hope and pray that each one of us might come to experience the risen Lord in new and exciting ways this Easter season.
Peace,
Chris
