About Us: Christ Church Anglican is an evangelical, High-Church1, Anglican community committed to fostering a deep and vibrant Christian spiritual life among our members, especially our youth. We seek a Youth Director who embodies our values and can guide our students in their Christian spiritual formation and walk with Christ.

The Vision: The goal of Youth Ministries is to cultivate disciples of Jesus who are deeply committed to their faith and equipped to serve as beacons of Christ’s light in the world. We aim to foster a community of young believers deeply connected to Christ and His church, equipped with a thorough understanding of scripture. This includes familiarity with the biblical narrative, teachings, theology, and principles and an understanding of the meta-narrative of scripture and theological themes, with the beginnings of a framework for systematic theology. The ideal individual will be able to convey these truths effectively and relevantly to our youth, helping them explore, comprehend, and integrate scripture into their Bible study and daily lives. Our students will develop a personal relationship with Jesus, built upon a solid understanding of the gospel. Upon graduating from Youth Ministries, they will be able to read, interpret, and apply God’s Word effectively to their personal lives. They should also understand the importance of personal spiritual disciplines, adopting a rule of life, encouraging a balanced and sustainable spiritual practice, and having a basic understanding of how to commune with God. Moreover, students will be equipped to share and defend their faith, an invaluable skill in an increasingly complex and often skeptical world.
